What is a Seventh-day Adventist?

Seventh-day Adventists are Bible - believing Christians
who base their faith, hope, and future in Jesus Christ and His Word.

We believe that Jesus Christ will soon return to this world in power and glory to receive His faithful children unto Himself. This occurs at the same time as the end of time resurrection, when He calls the dead from their graves and those who are still alive, to meet Him in the air and then He will take us to the mansions in His Father’s home.
John 14:1-3 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17.

God desires and has ordained strong family and marriage ties and we do our best to care for families and children in our congregation and community. The Lord also desires us to “prosper in all things and be in good health” 3 John: 2.

A Healthy lifestyle is important and we endeavor to teach people how to have this.
We believe that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and His death and resurrection. Because He saved us and because we love Him, we endeavor to honor Him by following all His commandments which includes the 4th commandment where the Lord said “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it Holy” Exodus 20:8 and following.

This can be done as we allow His Holy Spirit and His Word to direct our lives into harmony with the same kind of life and example that Jesus gave
while He walked and lived on this planet.
